JiangPoNi or 降坡泥 is a natural mixture of Zini and Hingni. This clay was discovered by accident while building a road in the 90s.  
 
The lotus symbolizes rising from the mud without being stained, and being washed by the clear water without losing its beauty, representing the noble character of a gentleman. It signifies purity and tranquility. The lower half of this pot features a six-petal lotus as its base, symbolizing this concept. The lid is also adorned with six flower petals, creating a harmonious connection. The spout is short and points upward, while the handle resembles a human ear—distinctive and full of character. The design is both steady and elegant, striking a perfect balance of grace and functionality.  Its balanced proportions, smooth curves, and refined craftsmanship reflect the essence of traditional Yixing teapot artistry.
